The Diamond Bella

My favourite wedding dress of all time is Sharon Tate's. In fact, I'm dressing my son in something very similar for his christening. The leg of mutton sleeves, the pale-blue velvet bows and most crucially, the moiré fabric - those swirling, psychedelic watermarks get me every time. If that's the '60s take on this most delicious of cloths, then The Diamond Bella dress demonstrates the 1980s'. Crafted from brash fuchsia taffeta, and finished with a ruched bodice and giant, rhinestone-trimmed bow, she's the Bella of any ball.
